You’re in for a treat. This has to be the most amusing Freelancer Spotlight interview I have done by far. Sooner, you’ll understand why. 🙂 Kristel Cuenta or Kit as she is fondly called was my pseudo officemate a couple of years back when I was still working with SEJ. She was a contributor and was working for one of the partner’s companies. I was and still am blown away by her incredible skills in Facebook, Reddit and other social media platforms. I still hope that one day I can invite her to our upcoming events. Meanwhile, enjoy great project management and social media tips straight from the mouth of Kit.
I virtually met Valerie two years ago at the first SEO Summit in Makati. We were both live-tweeting the event and naturally we followed each other back. Last year, we met again at the People’s Conference where she was one of the speakers discussing Social Media Marketing strategies. I know she would be a great resource for any SMM-related topics. So if you would like to know how you can convert your Facebooking skills into a certified career, you’ve come to the right place. In this week’s Freelancer Spotlight, Val will take us through the essentials of Social Media Marketing and how to excel in it.
Last June 5, Freelancing.ph was privileged to have Canva’s Country Manager for a sponsored webinar about design hacks for Freelancers. Kei San Pablo also started her career as a freelancer way back 2009 in the hopes of saving enough money for med school. She started working as a digital marketer and was able to put up her team of Virtual Assistants. In 2014, she met Cliff (the Founder and COO of Canva) via Twitter and the rest is history.
[Interview Series] I’m thrilled to share another great conversation I had with one of the most respected and well-known Entrepreneur, Speaker, Marketer, Designer, and Blogger in the country today. I met him randomly via Twitter and soon realized we have many things in common. As a burgeoning entrepreneur, I was curious to know how he transitioned from freelancer to having his own agency. So, thanks Roel for granting me this opportunity! If you’re in the helm of Social Media or planning to be, read on to find out what it takes to be a successful Social Media Manager.
